Bible Lit

I found a syllabus to a rather demanding sounding Bible Lit class. What interests me MOST, however, is the assigned reading. Presumably this is the important stuff minus the unimportant stuff, i.e. the stuff smart people should read. I'll get to it sometime after the History of the World, probably in the the wake of a couple novels... Pretty excited, though, because the boy is always very impressing with his biblical knowledge. He said it's ok to skip the pointless parts, and I figure this is a good way to do so without giving myself the task of deciding what is skip-worthy.

Yeah, the more I think of it, the more I think I should just quit wussing out. Last time I tried to read the Bible was fourth grade, so maybe I wouldn't get bored so easily now.
