I'm actually working towards the same thing right now: ESL teacher in Japan. Hoping to go with JET. 14 months at university left..
Sweet! I applied with Amity. I know JET is supposed to be the end-all-be-all best in the universe way to do it, but I'm really tempted by the chance to teach kids. Amity is a branch of AEON specifically catering to children, so that seemed like the best way to go. Now the only problem will be figuring out how to go WITH my boyfriend should the opportunity arise @_@
